Tzigane Tango

Tzigane Tango is an original composition for violin and cello by Hirono Borter, written in 2020 and marking her first exploration of the tango genre. While inspired by the passion, rhythmic drive, and expressive intensity of traditional Argentine tango, the work draws equally from Hungarian and Romani musical traditions, creating a distinctive fusion of styles and influences.
